Undercurrent for curation

In a hostile environment, it’s important to keep things in order: a pile of firewood or the rigging of a boat.  Powder dry.

Centuries of file management and reference replaced by muddle and search. Sustenance for the gone-before replaced by memorial for the  left-behind. The tangibility and tap-tap of the telegraph key transformed to paper, then replaced by radiation.
